Scott Hannay Plays Video Games (solo)

Over the years, Scott has learned well over 150 classic video game songs, and currently performs collections of these songs as solo piano sets. He has performed the entire soundtracks to Castlevania, Super Mario Bros. 3, and more in a live setting. He also performs many video game songs in a live looping environment during his Sunday Brunch Quaranstreams, building them from the ground up into dense arrangements in real-time.

Scott Hannay’s Multiplayer

Feeling an unrelenting desire to scratch his forever-itch to play in a video game band, Scott assembled a crew of musicians scattered throughout the Northeast for his first official Multiplayer show at Jewel in Manchester, NH in January 2018. Hannay’s desire to keep it fresh has led to always-rotating lineups since its inception, featuring members from many different bands. He has since even converted Broccoli Samurai and Cousin Earth, into full-fledged video game bands for a set.

Scott & Jeff Play Video Games

In April 2020, Scott and his friend Jeff Bujak, owner/operator of Prodigy Minigolf & Gameroom in Easthampton MA, took on three classic video games in their entirety – Super Mario Bros. 3, Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out!!, and The Legend of Zelda. Jeff played the full game from front to back as Scott performed the soundtrack in real time.
